VIVEKANANDA FSR FOUNDATION AND TRUST for poor child education is based in Arani, India directly benefitting thousands of children and their families every year through many live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, in several remote villages and slums across the states of India.
VFSR is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. We at VFSR, believe that whether you are addressing healthcare, poverty, unemployment, population control or human rights, the first place and the best place to begin is through education.
Undoubtedly, education is the most powerful ingredient for social transformation. But child education is not fully centred on the child alone. A child can go to school only if the family, particularly the mother, is guaranteed healthcare and empowered. Additionally, when an elder sibling is aptly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment lasts beyond the present generation.
What We Did Last Two Years
We supported a differently-abled person with Tea shop materials to begin his new life.
During the lockdown we conducted all over Tamil Nadu – Online Kids Drawing Competition with prizes and e-certificates.
We supported the underprivileged students with their term fees.
During the curfew, we supported 76 families in the Thiruvanamalai district and surrounding villages.
